  • Who can be a Lifelong Learner?
    Anyone. We expect our services to be particularly appealing to people who are empty-nesters, semi-retired, or retired, e.g., aged 45 – 75. However, our platform is open to everyone.
  • How long are the courses?
    The courses will run for 6 consecutive weeks. FurtherLearning thinks that is long enough to really learn something, but short enough to be manageable.
  • How much time should I expect to spend on a course?
    That is up to you. Discussion Groups take 1 hour per week. Additionally, preparation may typically take 1 to 2 hours per week. Of course, you can always spend more time on the topic if you like.
  • When are the live Discussions held?
    Always on Wednesdays. There are 4 possible time slots to accommodate different time zones and preferences, e.g., lunch time, after dinner, etc.
  • How much does membership cost?
    We are currently offering annual memberships for free. There will be a charge for specific courses.
  • How much do the courses cost?
    Prices will vary by course, and will be available as specific courses are scheduled.
  • Who can be a Discussion Leader?
    We are seeking to find inspiring experts for each course. That could be a professor, graduate student, emeritus professor, author, or anyone who has demonstrated outstanding expertise. If you would like to be considered as a possible Discussion Leader for a course, please contact us.
